Unearthed Hydrovac Services was established in December 2022 to help fill a gap in the NQ housing, construction, mining, and earthmoving industries with a strong focus on providing an expert service within the Hydrovac sector. Since then, we’ve worked our way to now an active competitor with a reputable name within the industry.
Currently, the construction industry across the country is facing a major shortage, with drilling at the top of the list (as outlined by the Australian Government Infrastructure workforce and skills supply Report 2021), we are doing our bit to combat this by opening up opportunities to those who want to work regardless of gender or background. By doing this, we have found that those labelled ‘undesirable’ or ‘disadvantaged’, have become our most loyal and hardest workers.
*Please note, all staff on our team undergo intensive one on one based training and are up to date with all industry related requirements. All training is conducted directly by the owner of the business. This training is achieved through regular toolbox meetings to ensure continuous improvement for the best outcomes.

Personal Profile
After more than 27 years of knowledge and hard work, I am humbled by all the rewards in more ways than one.
In 1995, I started from the bottom as an apprentice bricklayer before moving into a partnership servicing individual community works.
It started with being given an opportunity, this opportunity gave me a foundation, and from that foundation I had a platform that then sent me in the right direction, not really knowing where I wanted to be. I’ve had my share of ups and downs, wins and losses, but the one thing I always had for certain was discipline! With having my boys and the support from family and friends I feel very thankful for this crazy journey and at this point in life, I want to see others succeed just the same.
As a previous worker from some of the bigger companies out there, It’s one thing to have the mental and physical strength to get a job done and do it well for a paycheck. Becoming an owner and operator of a company puts a whole new spin on things. Understanding the project from all angles allows me to understand that from the initial contact from a prospective client right through to completion of the job needs to run with ease by keeping a high level of communication and consideration for everyone involved.
